LOCATION: SFU
DESIGNER: Sincerely Lindsay Design Co.
This interior renovation was completed at SFU in collaboration with Sincerely Lindsay Design Co. The project included replacing all flooring throughout the home, completely gutting and rebuilding the primary bathroom, and updating all doors and trim for a more cohesive finish. We also refreshed the second bathroom with new countertops to give it a more modern look.
The kitchen was fully reworked and extended into the area beside the stairs to improve function in a tight space. We updated the desk area and added countertop seating to the back of the peninsula, creating a more practical and inviting layout. The entire home also received a fresh coat of paint to complete the transformation.
In addition to the cosmetic updates, we resolved a long-standing heating issue that had been affecting the homeowners for years. Their hydronic baseboard system was stuck in one position year-round, causing the home to overheat. Our plumbing team diagnosed the problem and corrected it, making the home much more comfortable to live in.
This project was also especially challenging due to its location at SFU, where parking and trade access required careful coordination throughout the build.
