Having worked together at Teragon Developments for 10 years, Kari and Chad had already perfected the systems and processes that now make Nikari Homes so efficient and organized.
Education and Early Career
Kari graduated at the top of her class from KPU with a Diploma in Applied Business Technology, specializing in Bookkeeping. She started her career at a mid-size public accounting firm, where she quickly worked her way up to Junior Accountant. It was there she discovered her talent for handling the unique challenges of trades and construction company finances—a skill that would prove invaluable throughout her career.
Construction Industry Expertise
After mastering public practice, Kari made the strategic move to industry, joining Teragon Developments to oversee their office operations. For 10 years, she managed the financial backbone of a major construction company, working hand-in-hand with Chad to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and create the organized systems that kept complex projects running smoothly.
When Teragon decided to outsource their bookkeeping to a firm instead of maintaining in-house expertise, it was their loss and Nikari Homes' gain. Kari brought all that institutional knowledge, refined processes, and proven partnership directly to our team.
